China Passenger Vehicle Market Joint Information Conference released data showing that the country's passenger car market sold 1.392 million vehicles in the first four weeks of July (from 1st to 28th), which decreased by 3% year-on-year and 11% month-on-month; cumulative retail sales since this year are 11.231 million vehicles, up 2% year-on-year.

During the period, the retail sales of new energy passenger vehicles was 0.722 million units, a 31% increase year-on-year, a 5% decrease month-on-month, and cumulative retail sales since this year were 4.835 million units, up 33% year-on-year.
