According to the announcement by Gameone (08282), the group is expected to have a net attributable profit of approximately HKD 0.14 million for the six months ending on June 30, 2024, compared with a net loss of approximately HKD 10.255 million for the six months ending on June 30, 2023, achieving a turnaround from loss to profit.

The reason for the change from a net loss to a net profit in this period is mainly due to the comprehensive impact of the following factors: the overall gross margin of the group increased from approximately 20.2% in the previous period to approximately 37.7% in this period, with the gross margin of the software service business increasing from approximately 20% in the previous period to approximately 38.7% in this period; and the administrative expenses in this period decreased by approximately HKD 13 million, mainly due to the decrease in labor costs.
