On pre-market trading of July 30 (Tuesday),$Luckin Coffee (LKNCY.US)$the Q2 2024 financial report was released. The report shows that the total net income for Q2 2024 was 8.403 billion yuan (RMB), a year-on-year growth of 35.5%, the highest single quarter revenue; GAAP operating profit was 1.051 billion yuan, and the operating margin was 12.5%. Overall, Luckin Coffee's total net income for the first half of the year was 14.681 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 38%.

The average monthly trading customers in Q2 were 69.7 million, a year-on-year increase of 61.8%.

Luckin Coffee opened a net of 1371 new stores in the second quarter, including 5 new stores in Singapore. The number of stores increased by 7.4% compared to the end of the first quarter of 2024.

As of the end of Q2, Luckin Coffee had a total of 19,961 stores, including 13,056 self-operated stores and 6,905 joint venture stores. In July, Luckin Coffee opened its 20,000th store in Peking, further expanding its store layout.

In terms of revenue, the self-operated stores revenue in Q2 2024 for Luckin Coffee was 6.277 billion yuan, and the profit at the store level was 1.351 billion yuan, with the profit margin at 21.5%, while the joint venture stores revenue for Q2 was 1.85 billion yuan.
