According to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, in the first half of this year, the country's cultural and related industry enterprises above a certain size achieved revenue of 6.5 trillion yuan (the same below), a year-on-year increase of 7.5%. The total profit of cultural enterprises above a certain scale was 525 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.9%, which was 3.1 percentage points faster than the first quarter. The operating income profit margin was 8.08%, an increase of 0.11 percentage points from the same period last year, and an increase of 1.27 percentage points from the first quarter.

During the period, the nine major cultural industries in the cultural field continued to grow their operating income comprehensively in the first quarter. 16 small categories of industries with more obvious features of new cultural formats achieved operating income of 2.7 trillion yuan, an increase of 11.2% from the same period last year, which was 3.7 percentage points faster than all cultural enterprises above a certain scale. The contribution rate of new cultural format industries to the growth of operating income of all cultural enterprises above a certain scale was 60.5%. Among them, six small categories of industries, including entertainment using intelligent unmanned aerial vehicles, internet search services, multimedia game animation and digital publishing software development, internet advertising services, digital publishing and internet cultural entertainment platforms, achieved double-digit growth in operating income on a yearly basis.
