According to the announcement from Great Wall Motor (02333), its controlling shareholder Baoding Innovative Great Wall Asset Management Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Innovative Great Wall") has informed that it will release 45 million pledged shares of the company, which were originally pledged to CITIC Securities Co., Ltd, on July 26, 2024. The relevant registration procedures for the release of the pledge have been completed.

As of the date of this announcement, Baoding Innovative Great Wall, the controlling shareholder of the company, holds a total of 5.115 billion shares of the company, accounting for 59.88% of the total share capital. After the share pledge is released, the number of company shares pledged by Innovative Great Wall will be 0.638 billion, accounting for 12.46% of its holdings and 7.46% of the total share capital of the company.
