Mainland consumer sentiment is weak, and Hong Kong-listed local tea drink stocks hit new lows this morning (26th). Chabaidao (02555.HK), which went public in late April this year, opened at 9.09 yuan and showed a significant decline in the morning, with a low of 8.1 yuan, hitting a new low since listing. The current price is 8.22 yuan, down 9.57%, with a turnover of 0.1496 million shares and a transaction value of 1.2687 million yuan.

The company went public at a price of 17.5 yuan per share with a net capital of 2.463 billion yuan. On the first day of listing (April 23), it fell more than 30% during trading hours and still closed down nearly 27% for the day; subsequently, it continued to decline. At the current price, it has dived more than 53% compared to its IPO price.

China International Capital Corporation (CICC) recently issued a report stating that after the close of trading on August 16, Hang Seng Indexes Company will announce the results of the half-year review of the Hang Seng series of indexes, including the Hang Seng Composite Index, which is closely related to the investment scope of the Hong Kong Stock Connect. CICC predicts that 25 companies are expected to be included in the Hong Kong Stock Connect, including Chabaidao.

Competitor Nayuki Tea (02150.HK) fell 1.1% to a new low of 1.73 yuan this morning; the current price is 1.75 yuan, with no change in turnover of 2.5935 million yuan. Nayuki went public at the end of June 2021, with an IPO price of 19.8 yuan and a net capital of 4.842 billion yuan. At the current price, it has dived by about 91%.
