On July 25, 2024, Lenovo Group, a global leader in the digital economy, announced the appointment of Dr. Tolga Kurtoglu as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to further enhance Lenovo Group's technology vision and AI leadership.

The new CTO, Dr. Tolga Kurtoglu, has extensive experience in the IT industry and previously served as CTO of HP, CEO of PARC (Palo Alto Research Center), and led the Xerox Global Research Institute. He is also a board member of Omidyar Network (ON), an organization committed to inclusive and responsible development of generative AI. Dr. Tolga Kurtoglu has extensive experience in hardware, software, and AI technology, with numerous patents and multiple published papers in the fields of automation and machine intelligence, computational design, systems engineering, and 3D/digital manufacturing.
