We are pleased to announce that Capcom Co., Ltd. has won a prize in the corporate human resources category in the Japanese HR department's “HR Award 2024” under the award system operated by HR Vision Co., Ltd.

The “HR Award” is a system that recognizes organizations that continue creative and innovative activities and challenges in the HR industry through selection and voting on the community site “Japan Human Resources Department,” which consists of members such as corporate human resources, managers, etc. After the current winners are announced, the “Grand Prize/Excellence Award” will be announced in September this year after voting by regular members of the same site and final selection by the selection committee.

In recent years, against the backdrop of large-scale and prolonged game development due to business expansion, there have been issues to quickly develop new and young players and establish a sustainable training system. Aiming for an organizational development foundation and culture while eliminating the burden of human resource development imposed on managers, mentor training training was introduced to development employees in 2022, then “people management with full participation” that emphasizes on-site dialogue was implemented, and up to now, a total of 900 creators have participated in this initiative.
As a result of such continuous efforts, voluntary “self-development,” including new hires, has been revitalized, and mutual understanding between managers and members has deepened through training that emphasizes dialogue, leading to improved growth speed for creators and manager development. Furthermore, by deploying horizontally across multiple departments, management load reduction by managers has been realized, and the development of a system that allows them to concentrate on development work is progressing.

Currently, the award is during the selection period for the Grand Prize and Excellence Award candidates, and votes are being accepted from 7/16 (Tue) to 8/5 (Mon). We look forward to your vote.
