The Electrical and Mechanical Services Department announced today (25th) that, in accordance with the contract provisions of dedicated liquefied petroleum gas filling stations (dedicated gas stations), the maximum retail prices of vehicle liquefied petroleum gas at dedicated gas stations will be adjusted between August 1st and August 31st of this year.

A spokesperson for the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department said that, as the international liquefied petroleum gas prices remain unchanged in July this year, the maximum retail price of vehicle liquefied petroleum gas at each dedicated gas station in August this year will remain unchanged, ranging from 3.49 yuan to 4.38 yuan per liter.

The spokesperson pointed out that the maximum retail prices of vehicle liquefied petroleum gas are determined based on the pricing formula specified in the contract. The pricing formula includes two elements: international liquefied petroleum gas prices and liquefied petroleum gas operating prices. The international liquefied petroleum gas price refers to the international liquefied petroleum gas price of the previous month, while the operating price of liquefied petroleum gas will be adjusted based on the average change of the Composite Consumer Price Index and the Nominal Wage Index on February 1st and June 1st each year.
