Macau Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng made his first appearance in a video speech at an event yesterday since taking his third leave of absence on June 21.
Ho Iat Seng is on leave until July 29. In response to media inquiries on the same day, the Macau Government Information Bureau stated that Ho Iat Seng had undergone routine physical examination during his leave and received necessary treatment. His current physical condition is good.
Macau will hold the Chief Executive election in October this year, but the specific election date has not yet been announced. According to the Macau Forum Daily's previous report citing sources, although Ho Iat Seng had a minor health issue, he still intends to announce his candidacy for Chief Executive again in mid-August.
