In recent months, Apple has been contacting Asian suppliers to discuss the production of related accessories. It is reported that the phone will look similar to the Galaxy Z Flip released by Samsung in 2020. However, it is also common for Apple to cancel R&D projects. Currently, it is uncertain whether it will definitely launch a folding phone, but if it does, it will be one of the biggest hardware design reforms in iPhone history.

Recently, many consumer electronics giants have repeatedly added to folding screen phones. According to media reports, Samsung Electronics has begun developing foldable phones with a thickness of 7-8 mm. The industry expects Samsung to launch models with a thickness of about 10 mm in the second half of this year, and will launch thinner models every year thereafter.
