According to the Ctrip Blackboard news on July 23rd, in July 2024, the Tourism Authority of Thailand partnered with the all-in-one travel service platform Ctrip Group (09961) to launch discounted air tickets for Ctrip users, to stimulate enthusiasm of tourists from the eastern part of China including Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Jinan, Wuhan and Hefei, satisfy their summer travel needs, and promote the sustained development of the tourism industry and consumer growth in both countries.
It is reported that this special offer for air tickets will be available from July 15th, 2024 to August 15th, 2024, covering all eligible users on the Ctrip platform. During the event, users who buy direct flights to Thailand from the eastern part of China (Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Jinan, Wuhan, and Hefei) before August 31st and priced above 801 yuan can get an immediate discount of 100 yuan.
It is worth mentioning that the visa-free stay extension policy in Thailand was officially announced starting from July 15th.
