The Zhitong Finance App learned that starting today (July 22), the range of ETFs that can be invested under the Shanghai-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect has been expanded again. Six new ETFs have been added to Hong Kong Stock Connect, and the number of eligible ETFs under Hong Kong Stock Connect has increased to 16, each from 7 ETF issuers. The underlying indices include the MSCI China Index, Hang Seng Hong Kong Listed Biotech Index, Hang Seng Index, Hang Seng Technology Index, China Securities Hong Kong 100 Index, etc.

Industry insiders pointed out that among them, the China Ping An CSI Hong Kong high-yield ETF is particularly noteworthy. According to reports, this ETF was established in 2012 and is currently the longest listed high-dividend-themed ETF in Hong Kong Stock Connect. As of the end of June 2024, the ETF's total return since this year was 29.53%, paying interest every six months, and the payout rate for the past year was as high as 6.94%.
