Tokyo Growth Market Index 846.29 -21.50 / Volume 0.2 billion 25.38 million shares / Sales of 121.6 billion yen

Tokyo Growth Market 250 index 657.25 -18.48 / Volume 0.1 billion 33.69 million shares / Sales of 95.8 billion yen

In today's Growth Market, Tokyo Growth Market Index and Tokyo Growth Market 250 Index both experienced a 3-day consecutive decline. There were 124 stocks that rose, 432 that fell, and 28 that remained the same.

On the 19th, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 40,287.53, down 377.49 points, and the Nasdaq finished trading at 17,726.94, down 144.28 points. Microsoft's Windows terminal suffered a system failure, leading to concerns about the disruption of the world's economy and prompting a sell-off. The market fell after the start of trading, with further selling pressure from profit-taking ahead of the earnings of high-tech companies. As the system was restored, the market stopped falling, but it remained weak throughout the day and closed.

After opening lower, the Tokyo Growth Market Index continued to widen its losses. After the morning selling wave subsided, the market remained in a range between 845pt-850pt until the end of trading. The Tokyo Growth Market Core Index followed a similar pattern, and the entire Growth Market was weak for the day.

J-Front Retailing<2934>, with a decrease of 22.39%, was the most heavily declining individual stock. Amid continuing trends that led to the establishment of a special investigative committee the previous week, at least some media reports regarding Amazon and Welcia Holdings seemed to have served as additional negative material. Selling pressure due to profit-taking was applied to CellSeed<7776> which had been rising recently. WOLVES<194A>, an IPO that had announced a joint research and development contract, continues to fall. FFRI<3692> and Chordia<190A> fell in the list of top trading shares. Linkbal<6046>, SimBio<4582>, and WTOKYO<9159> were among the other stocks that fell.

On the other hand, AIAI Group<6557>, which announced stock splits and the introduction of shareholder benefits, rose by 29.41%, becoming the top of the gainers. Attention also turned to Wash House<6537>, which announced the start of a new business called the Container Business, and to Agemochi<9330>, which announced a business partnership with Blog Watcher, a joint venture between Recruit and Dentsu. Noyl Immune<4893> and NPC<6255> were among the top trading shares that were bought. Visa SC<4490>, Kazushin<9271>, and Trace OP<6696> were among the other rising stocks.

In the Tokyo Growth Market Core Index, Dot Lawyers<6027>, Sunwells<9229>, CUC<9158>, and ispace<9348> declined, while TKP<3479> rose.
