Futu News, July 22nd - The three major indexes of the Hong Kong stock market rose in the morning, with the Hang Seng Tech Index surging by 2% at one point and closing up 1.69% at noon; the Hang Seng Index and the national index also rose by 0.82% and 1% respectively, ending the trend of continuous decline last week.
As of the midday close, 787 Hong Kong stocks rose, 792 fell, and 1488 remained unchanged.
In terms of sectors, network technology stocks rebounded, with Ctrip up more than 4%, Xiaomi up 4%, Meituan up nearly 3%, Tencent up more than 2%, and Netease up nearly 2%.
Biomedical stocks were strong, with Krontih Bio-B up nearly 5%, Tigermed up more than 4%, Wuxi Bio up more than 3%, Beigene and WuXi AppTec up nearly 3%.
Auto stocks performed well, with Xiaopeng up more than 4%, Huachen up nearly 4%, Everg Vehicle up nearly 3%, Leapmotor up more than 2%, and BYD up nearly 2%.
Apple supplier concept stocks were weak, with Sunny Optical down more than 4%, Q Tech down nearly 3%, and Cowell down nearly 2%.
In addition, mainland real estate stocks, electric power stocks, semiconductor stocks, and Chinese mainland banking stocks rose slightly, while golden industrial concept stocks fell slightly.
In terms of individual stocks,$SMOORE INTL (06969.HK)$RJR's stock rose nearly 10%, and the company has received seven new tobacco products through the pre-listing tobacco product application channel.
$EAST BUY (01797.HK)$Oriental Select's stock rose nearly 11%, and the company participated in international forums for the first time. Institutions believe that self-built construction has long-term growth potential.
