According to the Office of the Chief Executive of Macau, Ho Iat Seng, the Chief Executive of Macau, will take another 10 days off from Saturday (20th) to the 29th, totaling 39 days of leave. During Ho's leave, Macau's Secretary for Administration and Justice Zhang Yongchun will temporarily act as Chief Executive. In response to media inquiries, the Macau government stated that Ho Iat Seng had a routine physical examination and necessary medical treatment during his leave, and his current physical condition is good, but the authorities did not disclose the reason for Ho's medical treatment.

On June 21st, Ho Iat Seng suddenly announced a 13-day leave, originally scheduled to return to work on July 4th and then take leave until July 19th.
