Lisa Spelman, a high-ranking executive at Intel (INTC.US), will serve as CEO of Cornelis Networks, which was spun off from Intel in 2020.
Cornelis said on Thursday that Spelman, who had assisted in overseeing Intel's data center business, will take on the new role on August 15.
Cornelis' networking technology connects different servers inside data centers, which is important for developing ai models and can help provide large-scale, coordinated computing power across the entire data center.
Lisa Spelman has worked at Intel for more than 20 years and most recently served as VP of the Data Center and ai Group.
