On July 18th, the A-share market opened lower in the morning, and the three major indexes turned red in the afternoon. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.48% to 2977 points, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.5%, and the Chinext Price Index rose 1.25%, while the BeiGene 50 Index fell 4.03%. Over 2900 stocks fell, with a total turnover of 672.3 billion yuan throughout the day. On the market, the education sector was active, and Offcn Education Technology rose to the limit in the end; the lithography sector rose in the afternoon, and multiple stocks such as Hunan Kaimeite Gases rose to the limit; the railway and highway sector was strong, and Heilongjiang Transport Development rose to the limit; and the electronic chemicals, heparin concept, aerospace and aviation sectors had the highest increases. In addition, the consumer electronics sector fell, and Weimao Electronics fell more than 11%; the copper cable high-speed connection sector continued to fall, and Shenzhen Deren Electronic fell more than 6%; the AIPC sector weakened, and Hongxi Technology fell more than 6%; and the mixed reality, electronic components, and East and West calculation sectors had the highest declines.
