Haitong Securities believes that due to the complexity of domestic road conditions, single-vehicle intelligence cannot interact well with other vehicles. According to media reports, the Yangtze River Delta (Yancheng) Smart Connected Vehicle Test Site, the first large-scale comprehensive closed smart-connected vehicle test site covering all scene requirements for intelligent networked vehicles and autonomous driving in China, is now operational. It is reported that the Yangtze River Delta (Yancheng) Smart Connected Vehicle Test Site has the world's first and currently the only real tunnel scene built within a closed automobile test site. It is 840 meters long, 13 meters underground, and has an S-shaped buried section with a length of 350 meters, as well as underground diversion and convergence ramp, which can realize the functionality testing of intelligent networked vehicles' perception, computing, decision-making, and execution even when GPS positioning signals and network signals are blocked.

The commercial operation of self-driving cars has become a reality.
