This upgrade was achieved through the ePi OS 1.2.0 system version to achieve advanced smart driving functions such as high-speed NOA pilot assisted driving, LAPA over-the-line memory parking, and several practical functions and experience optimization for smart driving models. The Dongfeng Epi007 high-spec model is equipped with the Black Sesame Smart Huashan® A1000 vehicle grade high-performance autonomous driving chip, which fully supports L2+ advanced intelligent assisted driving. After the OTA upgrade, the Dongfeng Yipai EPI007 is even easier to meet everyday smart driving needs. With the help of the Huashan A1000 chip, the ePI007 is equipped with a high-computing intelligent driving system with integrated driving power. The high-speed NOA realizes full path planning. It can automatically follow cars, change lanes autonomously, go up and down ramps, etc. on urban expressways and highways, bringing drivers a safer, more convenient, and comfortable car experience.
LAPA ultra-long-range memory parking brought by this round of OTA updates can be described as “eighteen martial arts” that are proficient in parking, truly providing users with a comfortable parking experience. When turned on at a specific location, the Dongfeng Yipai ePi ePI007 can automatically drive to the pre-set target parking space. The maximum distance of a single line can be 400 meters, and up to 10 routes can be memorized. The vehicle can independently search for parking spaces and complete parking; it can also support horizontal, sideways, and oblique directions, regardless of direction, to adapt to different parking lot scenes.
In addition, the e007 has also added a series of practical advanced intelligent driving functions. The TLC lever lane change function and ALC automatic lane change function can significantly improve the vehicle's flexibility and traffic efficiency in the ICA intelligent navigation assistance process. With the added TLC function, when the vehicle is in the ICA driving state, the user only needs to flip the turn signal to automatically change lanes. The ALC function goes one step further. The vehicle will independently determine when to change lanes in the left lane and prompt the user to turn on the left turn signal to automatically change lanes. The epi007 has also been upgraded for active safety assistance during driving, and an ELK enhanced lane keeping assist function has been added to further improve vehicle safety.
