传音回应在印度被高通诉专利侵权

Transsion responds to Qualcomm's patent infringement lawsuit in India.

Gelonghui Finance ·  Jul 12 22:14

On July 12, Guolonghui reported that Qualcomm has sued Shenzhen Transsion Holdings Co., Ltd for infringing on its four non-essential patents in the Delhi High Court in India. In response, Transsion stated that it has signed a 5G standard patent license agreement with Qualcomm and is fulfilling the agreement. However, in some countries, some patentees do not own or only own a small number of patents, but demand unreasonably high license fees in accordance with a globally uniform rate, without considering the differences in economic development levels in different regions, the lack of patents or only a small number of patents in specific regions or markets, and the existence of different rates in different regions based on existing precedents. This approach does not fully comply with principles of fairness, reasonableness, and non-discrimination. Transsion will continue to negotiate patents with third parties, while respecting the intellectual property rights of others and promoting the determination of reasonable license fees within the framework of fairness, reasonableness, and non-discrimination.
