Obtained independent car-making qualifications

BAIC Off-road Vehicle Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing Automotive Group, of which the actual controller is the Beijing State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. It was included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's application directory at that time, which also meant that Xiaomi Auto got the "quasi-certificate of birth".
According to the announcement at that time, the product models of Xiaomi-branded pure electric sedans were BJ7000MBEVR2 and BJ7000MBEVA1. According to the understanding of the announcement, these electric sedans should be produced by BAIC, with Xiaomi as the brand. After all, the names of the two companies are BAIC, not Xiaomi.
At the time, Xiaomi stated that Xiaomi Auto was produced by the Xiaomi factory in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone. According to official data from Xiaomi Auto, the delivery volume of Xiaomi SU7 exceeded 10,000 in June, and the delivery volume in July will continue to exceed 10,000. Overall, the Xiaomi SU7 is in a phase of continuous increase in production capacity. The delivery volume in April was 7,058, the delivery volume in May was 8,630, and the delivery volume in June exceeded 100,000.
