Officials from Civil Aviation Administration of China stated in a press conference that during this year's summer peak travel season, the aviation market is expected to continue the trend of a peak season with a total passenger transport volume of approximately 0.133 billion, and an average daily passenger volume of 2.15 million, an increase of 10% compared to 2019 and 5% compared to 2023. The summer passenger transport for civil aviation in 2024 has already begun on July 1st and will last 62 days until August 31st.

In addition, during the first half of this year, the Civil Aviation Administration has accelerated the preliminary work and construction of major civil aviation infrastructure projects, and actively expanded profitable investments. As of the end of June, the entire civil aviation industry has completed a fixed asset investment of RMB 61.52 billion, an increase of 33.2% year-on-year.
