According to the financial news app, Apple (AAPL.US) lowered the trade-in prices for many products, including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Mac, before the release of new products in September. The Apple website shows that the highest trade-in price for iPhone 14 Pro Max is $620, lower than the previous price of $630; the highest trade-in price for iPhone 14 is $520, and the highest trade-in price for other iPhones is between $40 and $460.
The highest trade-in price for iPad Pro is $565, lower than the previous price of $580; the highest trade-in price for iPad is $225, lower than the previous price of $250. The highest trade-in price for Apple Watch Ultra is $355, lower than the previous price of $360; the highest trade-in price for Apple Watch SE 2 is $90, lower than the previous price of $110; and the highest trade-in price for Apple Watch Series 7 is $125, lower than the previous price of $140.
In addition, the highest trade-in price for MacBook Pro is $925, lower than the previous price of $1010; the highest trade-in price for MacBook Air is $485, lower than the previous price of $525; the highest trade-in price for MacBook is $130, lower than the previous price of $145; and the highest trade-in price for iMac is $330, lower than the previous price of $420.
Apple regularly adjusts the trade-in prices of its products. It is widely expected that Apple will release a variety of new products in the fall, including upgraded iPhone 16 series, new AirPods 4 and AirPods Max 2, Apple Watch Series 10 and Ultra 3, MacBook Pro and iPad series with M4 chips.
