Futu News, July 11th - During the morning trading session, the three major Hong Kong stocks indices performed strongly, with the Hang Seng Tech Index leading the way with a 2.5% increase and closing up 2.04% in the afternoon. The Hang Seng Index and the National Index rose 1.54% and 1.44% respectively, with the Hang Seng Index approaching the 18,000 mark during the trading day.

As of the noon trading session, there were 1125 gainers and 539 losers in the Hong Kong stock market, with 1412 remaining unchanged.

In terms of sectors, large-cap tech companies showed collective gains, with Ali and Xiaomi up over 2%, and JD.com and Bilibili up nearly 2%, with Tencent and SenseTime up over 1%.

Auto stocks rose, with Xpeng up over 10%, Li Auto up nearly 7%, and Nio up over 5%.

Pharmaceutical stocks were strong, with Remegen up nearly 13% and Collgenbio-B up over 8%.

Nonferrous metal stocks rose in tandem, with Ganfeng Lithium up over 9%, Tianqi Lithium Corporation up over 7%, and China Aluminum International Engineering Corporation up over 4%.

Apple concept stocks rose strongly, with Q Tech up over 24%, AAC Tech up over 5%, and FIH up over 4%.

In addition, popular sectors such as semiconductor chip stocks, mainland real estate stocks, insurance stocks, golden industrial concept stocks, and dining stocks rose in tandem. On the other hand, the growth rate of thermal power performance in the second quarter may decline month-on-month, with electric power stocks under significant pressure. Huaneng International Electricity fell for three consecutive days, and most education and coal industrial concept stocks were lackluster.
