On the 9th, Logizard<4391> released a case study of the introduction of their cloud warehouse management system (WMS), "Logizard ZERO," to Kubota Industries. Kubota Industries operates a rental business for dishes in Kumamoto, handling over 2500 types and more than 0.25 million pieces. Due to the nature of being a rental business rather than a sales business, there are many irregular operations such as daily rentals and returns and quality checks for fragile items. In the process of considering a system that can manage inventory, it was evaluated that "Logizard ZERO" was flexible in responding to special operations such as rentals, provided support upon introduction, and had a 365-day support system. Therefore, they decided to adopt it.

With this introduction, the work of "checking inventory" and "finding where the product is located" that used to require verification every time is now eliminated, and the time it took originally to find one product has been shortened from 80 minutes to 8 minutes, resulting in almost a 90% reduction in work time. This system has enabled sales strategies to be formulated based on data, and there has been an evaluation of the significant effect of reassessing personnel increases or decreases and the appropriate placement of individuals, as well as almost eliminating human errors.
