Sagawa Express Co., Ltd. of SG Holdings Group (hereinafter "the Company") has signed a comprehensive collaboration agreement with Kumamoto Prefecture (Governor: Kei Kimura) for the improvement of prefectural services and the revitalization of the region. We would like to inform you that we have held a signing ceremony at the Kumamoto Prefectural Office on July 9th.
1. Background
As a company responsible for logistics, one of society's infrastructure, we are actively engaged in activities that utilize our resources and expertise to promote the revitalization of the regional economy and the realization of a sustainable society. As part of this, we are expanding "SAGAWA Town Support" to local governments nationwide, working together with the public sector to address regional issues.
Under the name of SAGAWA Town Support, we promote "no shopping baggage tourism" for the convenience of tourists and business travelers, as well as the mixed transportation of passengers and goods that is expected to have effects on the maintenance of transportation infrastructure, logistics efficiency, and reduction of environmental impact. We also engage in activities that contribute to the safety and security of the region, such as monitoring activities for children and the elderly, and providing transportation support for supplies during disasters.
With the conclusion of this agreement, the Company will work to create a variety of services, aim for sustainable and comfortable communities and regional revitalization by effectively utilizing both parties' resources and expertise, and tackle and improve social issues.

To commemorate the signing of the comprehensive collaboration agreement, we have created local cardboard boxes (size L) featuring the Kumamon character, Kumamoto Castle, and illustrations. They will be sold at our sales offices and delivery counters in Kumamoto Prefecture starting on July 11th.
