According to insiders cited by domestic media, NIO Inc's self-driving chips have started trial production and are in the testing phase. The chip team has already taken the lead and specified that the new car ET9 will need to be equipped with their own chips next year.
Insiders also revealed that Xpeng's self-driving chips have also started trial production and are expected to be installed in cars in August for the verification, testing and adjustment process. Li Auto Inc's self-driving chip research and development time is relatively later, but also completed trial production during the year.
