China Satellite Communications (601698.SH) announced that according to the preliminary calculation of the financial department, it is expected to achieve a net income attributable to shareholders of the listed company of approximately 0.411 billion yuan in the first half of 2024, which is an increase of approximately 0.145 billion yuan compared with the same period last year, a year-on-year increase of about 54%. The net income attributable to shareholders of the listed company after deducting non-recurring gains and losses in the first half of 2024 is expected to remain stable compared with the same period last year.
The company reached a consensus with the insurance underwriter on the insurance claim plan for Zhongxing-6C satellite in June 2024 and signed a release agreement. Insurance claims are the main reason for the increased net income attributable to shareholders of the listed company in this period.
