Alibaba Cloud's Chief Technology Officer, Zhou Jingren, revealed at the 2024 World Artificial Intelligence Conference that since its launch in June last year, its AI model services and application development platform 'Bailian' has attracted over 0.2 million registered users and its open-source model downloads have exceeded 20 million times, hoping to see more users utilize the development tools and models on the Bailian platform to build various innovative AI applications. He said that Alibaba Cloud will be committed to reducing the application threshold of generative AI, so that developers and companies of all kinds could benefit from it.
Alibaba Cloud also released the cloud-native AI assistant 'Xiaoying' for Shadowless cloud computers, which is driven by the open-source model 'TongYi Qian Wen'. It provides functions such as auxiliary writing, intelligent replies, and auto-translation, designed specifically for learning and office scenarios on cloud computers, improving user efficiency. Currently, 'Xiaoying' has been launched on the Shadowless cloud computer personal edition, and will soon be available for selection on Shadowless enterprise edition.
