On July 5th, a customer service representative from Master Kong's e-commerce flagship store confirmed to the reporter that all flavors of Master Kong's classic series instant noodles had been raised in price, involving more than 12 flavors, including braised beef, Old Landlord Pickled Beef, Hot and Spicy Beef, Old Mother Hen Soup, and Jin Tang Fei Niu. The price increase is aimed at providing consumers with excellent product experience, upgrading the noodles to include eggs and vegetables. According to the customer service, several classic series instant noodles from Master Kong previously sold for about 4.2 yuan per bucket, and after the price adjustment, the new price is 4.57 yuan. A convenient noodle wholesaler in Guangzhou also confirmed to the reporter that as early as May, Master Kong notified them that it would soon be raising prices. On July 2nd, the latest batch of wholesale Master Kong instant noodles officially increased in price. Currently, a box of 24 bags of Master Kong Braised Beef Noodles is priced at 58 yuan, and a box of 12 buckets of the same flavor is priced at 48 yuan. The wholesale prices of both sizes of instant noodles have increased by 5 yuan compared to before. It can be estimated that the bagged Master Kong Braised Beef Noodles have increased by 0.21 yuan, and the bucketed noodles have increased by about 0.42 yuan. A Guangzhou convenience store operator told the reporter that the retail price of Master Kong's classic series bucketed noodles has always been 5 yuan. In June, the supplier notified that the price would be raised, but the retail end price is currently unchanged. Another Guangzhou convenience store operator told the reporter that they will have to sell the remaining stock and see how much the specific increase is when the new goods arrive.
