Gelonghui Finance ·  Jul 5 21:14
On July 5th, Guolonghui reported that the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) stated that the Federal Court of Australia found that PayPal's local subsidiary used unfair terms in general contracts with small business clients, which required small business clients to find and report billing errors within 60 days, otherwise it will not be accepted. The court ruled that the clause was unfair. Last September, ASIC filed a legal lawsuit against PayPal over this issue. ASIC stated that PayPal voluntarily provided assistance during the investigation, and PayPal also admitted that the clause was unfair and voluntarily removed it from the contract on November 8th of last year.
