On July 5th, Gelong Hui reported that the Trump Media and Technology Group signed an asset acquisition agreement on Wednesday to acquire almost all assets of WorldConnect Technologies (WCT) or its affiliated companies in a all-stock trade deal. The deal aims to provide linear television streaming services for the media company's planned content distribution network (CDN) - initially through the Truth Social platform, later through independent applications. The Trump Media and Technology Group expects to obtain a global non-exclusive permanent license for the new CDN technology it plans to use for its content distribution network from the Perception Group and its global affiliates. The transaction will be financed by the issuance of up to 5.1 million shares of DJT common stock and $17.5 million in funds at the time of the transaction's completion and is expected to be paid within three years. In addition, the Trump Media and Technology Group has secured a long-term equity financing arrangement to support its expansion over the next three years.
