Weichai Power (02338) announced on the Zhitong Financial APP that, in order to improve the efficiency of using the raised funds and increase company income, the company held the 5th interim board of directors and the 3rd interim supervisory board meetings on July 5, 2024, and reviewed and approved the proposal to use part of the idle raised funds for cash management. The company agreed to continue to use idle raised funds not exceeding RMB 4.5 billion for cash management, subject to the investment plan and construction progress of the raised funds investment project, without affecting the use of raised funds and ensuring fund safety. The used funds will be invested in structured deposits products with high security, good liquidity and meeting the requirement of capital preservation, with a maximum investment period of not more than 12 months. The above limit will be used on a revolving basis within twelve months after the expiry date of the limit approved by the fourth interim board of directors in 2023 (July 28, 2024).
