Xiaomi has started a two-shift working pattern, and the delivery cycle of the Pro version has been shortened by 5 weeks, with a delivery volume of over 10,000 in June. New forces in automobile manufacturing have submitted their report card, with Ideal and Huawei Hongmong Intelligent Travel exceeding 40,000, NIO reaching over 20,000, and Nezha Automobile remaining at the bottom of the rankings.

Recently, well-known investor Duan Yongping spoke out.$XIAOMI-W (01810.HK)$The official Weibo of Autos announced that the delivery volume of Xiaomi SU7 exceeded 10,000, and the delivery volume in July will continue to exceed 10,000.

Recently, many car brands have successively announced their sales volume for June and the first half of 2024. Among the new car-making forces, Ideal returned to 40,000 deliveries if calculated by June sales volume, followed closely by Huawei Hongmong Zhihang, which also delivered over 40,000. Xpeng and Nazhi Automobile delivered over 10,000, ranking at the bottom of the overall list. Obviously, delivering over 10,000 has become a "hard indicator" for the competition between new car-making forces. Earlier, Xiaomi Auto had raised its delivery target to 100,000 vehicles this year, aiming for 120,000 vehicles, and implemented double-shift production in the factory since June.

Previously, Cai Lian She reporter noticed that if you order the standard version of Xiaomi SU7 on the Xiaomi Auto App, the expected delivery date is after 27-30 weeks. For the Max version, you need to wait for 29-32 weeks, while the delivery time of the Pro version has been speeded up to 21-24 weeks. When visiting the Xiaomi Auto delivery center, the staff also told reporters that except for the standard version, the overall delivery cycle has been shortened.

Pro and Max versions delivery accelerated.

Xiaomi Auto's delivery cycle has always been a focus of the market's attention. Previously, Cai Lian She reporter learned that the delivery cycle of the SU7 standard version has been extended to more than 28 weeks, and there have been cases of scalpers raising prices to buy orders close to the delivery date.

Recently, Xiaomi Auto's factory has adopted a double-shift production model, and after announcing that the delivery volume in June exceeded 10,000, it will continue to maintain a delivery rhythm of more than 10,000 in July.

In addition, Xiaomi Auto's offline stores are also expanding synchronously. 17 new stores were added in June, and a total of 87 stores have been opened in 30 cities nationwide. It is expected to increase by 17 in July, located in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Wuxi, Changsha, Foshan, Jinan, Changzhou, Wenzhou, Changchun, Jinhua, Guiyang and other cities, with a total of 104 stores. Among them, Jinan, Changzhou, Changchun, and Guiyang will welcome Xiaomi Auto stores for the first time.

Cai Lian She reporter visited the delivery center of Xiaomi Auto located at Shenzhen Bao'an Airport. The sales told Cai Lian She reporter: "Currently, Max version has the longest delivery cycle, and the delivery speed of the Pro version is the fastest. If you pursue fast delivery, it is recommended to order the Pro version, which currently has the shortest delivery cycle."

"For car owners who have already placed orders, their order delivery cycle can be shortened in July. If the waiting time for locking orders exceeds 3 months and the car has not been delivered yet, we will also send blind box gifts for customers care." The salesperson also revealed that the Pro version is shortened by 1 to 5 weeks, the Max version is shortened by 1 to 2 weeks, and the standard version currently has not changed.

Cai Lian She reporter noticed that some Xiaomi SU7 car owners who received the blind box had posted their care gifts on social platforms, including a thank-you letter, a Xiaomi leisure backpack, and some car owners claimed to have received a Mijia liquid crystal blackboard.

There are news that the lock-in volume of Xiaomi Auto in mid-May has exceeded 100,000. Some practitioners in the automobile industry speculate that when the order surge of Volkswagen occurred, the production rhythm of "three shifts" was adopted, but Xiaomi may currently be restricted by limited supply chain production capacity and can only adopt a "two shifts" model.

Wang Hua, the general manager of the public relations department of Xiaomi Group, once publicly stated: "As a new car brand, there is only one model available, and the number of delivery centers is very limited. We can still be on the weekly delivery ranking, so the delivery pressure is of course great."

Previously, due to the insufficient production capacity of the supply chain, Huawei's intelligent automobile solution BU director, Yu Chengdong, attributed the reason for the insufficient production capacity to factory relocation and supply shortages, resulting in the failure to deliver the 20,000 large orders on time after they went public.

Therefore, for Xiaomi Auto, in addition to hoping for double-shift production, the second-phase project of Xiaomi Auto is one of the keys to "continuously increase production capacity." It is reported that the second-phase factory is located in Fangxindian Village and Xiaozhangwan Village in Yizhuang New City, with an annual planned production capacity of 150,000 vehicles. It is scheduled to start construction in 2024 and complete in 2025.

Since July, various automakers have announced their delivery data for the first half of the year. In addition to Xiaomi Auto, Huawei Hongmong Zhihang's AITO Questionnaire M series delivery volume has also received much attention. According to official data from Hongmeng Zhixing, the Questionnaire brand delivered 42,700 vehicles in June, of which the M9 delivered 17,200, the new M7 delivered 18,500, and the new M5 delivered 7,046 in a single month. This is the first time that the delivery volume of the AITO questionnaire products has exceeded 40,000 after the main sales product upgrade.

On the day when sales data were released, Huawei announced that HUAWEI ADS (Qiankun intelligent driving) high-end function package would be available at a limited-time discount price, with a discount of 6,000 yuan.

The hot sales of the Wenjie series models also boosted the sales of Chongqing Sokon Industry Group Stock. As for the Zhijie S7, the delivery volume has been declining for two consecutive months after it started delivering in April, with only 2,995 units delivered in June. However, the Zhijie series will add a new member. On June 11th, Yu Chengdong revealed on Weibo that the second product of the Zhijie series was named "Zhijie R7", and the outside world predicts that the price of the new car may be between 300,000 and 400,000 yuan.

Among the new forces in the automobile industry, Li Auto Inc achieved a delivery volume of 40,000 again after 4 months. In June, Li Auto delivered about 47,800 new vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 46.7%, and a total of 108,600 new vehicles were delivered in the second quarter, achieving the lower limit of its delivery guidance (105,000 to 110,000 vehicles) for the second quarter.

NIO Inc followed closely behind and delivered more than 20,000 vehicles for two consecutive months. In June, it delivered 21,200 new vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 98%, setting a new record. The second brand's first model, Ledor L60, with a lower price, will be launched in September and may become a new growth point.

Although Xpeng maintained a delivery level of tens of thousands of vehicles for two months, it still had a low sales performance, delivering 10,600 units, a year-on-year increase of 23.76% and a month-on-month increase of 5.14%.

To boost sales, Xpeng launched its sub-brand MONA. Its first model, the MONA M03, was jointly developed with Didi, positioned as an A-class intelligent pure electric liftback coupe, priced at less than 200,000 yuan, and will be launched in August.

Other new energy vehicle brands are showing different degrees of growth: Jike Auto delivered more than 20,000 for the first time in June, reaching 20,100 units, a year-on-year increase of 89%; from January to June this year, Jike delivered a total of 87,900 new vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 106%.

Zeros Run Auto delivered a record high in June, exceeding 20,000 units for the first time, a year-on-year increase of 52.29%. The two models, C10 and C11, delivered a total of more than 11,300 units. Zhu Jiangming, founder, chairman, and CEO of Zero Run Technology, said that Zero Run Auto is expected to achieve a monthly sales scale of 30,000 units in the price range of 150,000 to 200,000 yuan.

NIO Inc continued to rank the lowest for five consecutive months with negative year-on-year growth. In June, it delivered 10,200 units, a year-on-year decrease of 15.88%, and its cumulative delivery of new vehicles in the first half of this year was 53,800 units.

According to the data released by the China Passenger Car Association, the retail sales of new energy passenger vehicles in June are expected to reach 860,000 units, up 6.9% month-on-month and 32.7% year-on-year. The penetration rate is expected to increase to 49.1%.
