On the news front, on June 29th, Zhihu released its latest AI product, "Zhihu Direct Answer," which is the formal productization of its AI search function, as well as having an independent domain and service entry. Zhihu founder Zhou Yuan said that "Zhihu Direct Answer" brings users and creators a new productivity tool through innovative application of large-scale models.
Analysts believe that the launch of "Zhihu Direct Answer" is expected to further consolidate Zhihu's leading position in the knowledge and Q&A field, and also marks Zhihu's beginning of layout in the AI search market. It is reported that since 2023, Zhihu has released the "Zhuhai Map AI" large model and community native AI function "Discovery·AI Search", completing the development of models to open product applications. The launch of "Zhihu Direct Answer" is seen as its increased investment in large model technology application.
