(President: Taro Fujie, Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) will launch a new “Grina” sleep care & stress care (drink type), which are useful not only for sleep care but also for stress relief, “Glina” sleep care & stress care (drink type). “Grina” sleep care & stress care will be sold exclusively in 10 prefectures (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, Chiba, Ibaraki, Gunma, Tochigi, Yamanashi, Niigata, and Nagano) on online shopping sites such as the Ajinomoto Direct Co., Ltd. online shop from 2024/8/26 (Monday), and “Glina” sleep care & stress care (drink type) will begin on 2024/8/24 (Sat).

The sleep support supplement market is growing in the medium term with an average annual growth rate of 7% from 2019 to 2023※1It can be seen that the number of consumers who feel problems with sleep is increasing. Since the number of people who cite stress as the cause of trouble with sleep is the most common, and it is increasing※2It is thought that there is a growing need to take care not only of sleep but also of stress.

“Grina” has been the No. 1 selling brand of sleep support supplements for 11 consecutive years※1As such, I have been dealing with Japanese sleep problems. With the launch of this new product, the package design of the current product has also been renewed, and the brand message “supports a good night's sleep” can now be understood at a glance (scheduled to be switched sequentially from late August onwards).
