Air Canada said on Tuesday that it has agreed to receive eight Boeing (BA.US) 737 MAX 8 aircraft from BOC Aviation, the lessor, which is expected to be delivered in 2024 and put into service next year.
Air Canada President and CEO Michael Rousseau said that the eight new and cost-effective 737 MAX 8 aircraft will provide greater fleet flexibility and additional capacity, while supporting sustainable development goals to reduce emissions.
