Binhai Inv (02886) announced that the Board of Directors received a notice from Tianjin TEDA Investment Holding Co., Ltd. (TEDA) stating that it has chosen to receive the end-of-2023 dividend in the form of scrip dividends through Teda Hong Kong Real Estate Limited, Santa Resources Limited and Leader Top Investments Limited. Due to Rule 26.1 of the Code on Takeovers and Mergers, the relevant shares held by TEDA in receiving the final dividend in the form of scrip dividends account for approximately 89% of the total number of shares it holds in the Company (the controlling shareholder chooses to receive the dividend in the form of shares).

The board of directors believes that the controlling shareholder's election to receive the dividend in the form of shares demonstrates TEDA's full recognition of the Group's continuous expansion of business, active support for the optimization and improvement of the upstream and downstream industry chain strategies of the Group, and its continued confidence in the current and future development prospects and growth value of the Company.
