The NASDAQ was supported by Microsoft and other AI stocks.
Despite the rise of US stocks, the growth market started trading in a volatile state due to rising interest rates in both the US and Japan. Core stocks in the growth market, with large market capitalization, were generally strong, but Sanbio <4592> and Post Prime <198A> were in a selling mood due to credit restrictions. The impact of both stocks, which had been rapidly rising, being sold, caused both the Growth Market Index and the Growth 250 Index to decline.
