Hokkaido Electric Power Network Co., Ltd., Chubu Electric Power Grid Co., Inc., Hokuriku Electric Power Transmission and Distribution Co., Inc., Kansai Electric Power Transmission and Distribution Co., Inc., Chugoku Electric Power Network Co., Ltd., Shikoku Electric Power Transmission and Distribution Co., Inc., Kyushu Electric Power Transmission and Distribution Co., Inc. and Okinawa Electric Power Co., Ltd. (8 companies) have started joint operation of the "Aomori Kadaru Contact Center," which collectively handles inquiries about power outages and transmission and distribution equipment such as telephone calls.^(Note)The Aomori Kadaru Contact Center has been operated by Chubu Electric Power Grid and Kansai Electric Power Transmission and Distribution since January 27, 2020, Hokkaido Electric Power Network since June 1 of the same year, Chugoku Electric Power Network since June 23 of the same year, Kyushu Electric Power Transmission and Distribution since January 11, 2023, Hokuriku Electric Power Transmission and Distribution since July 28 of the same year, and Shikoku Electric Power Transmission and Distribution from December 14 of the same year. Today, Okinawa Electric Power has started operation, and joint operation by eight companies has started.

At this center, in the event of a large-scale power outage due to heavy rain, typhoons, earthquakes, etc. and an increase in inquiries due to wide-area blackouts, etc. in each company's service area, we will work to provide reassurance that we can "connect" even in times of disaster by mutual support among the eight companies.
