Zijin Mining Group (02899.HK) announced that according to the evaluation opinions on mineral resources reserves issued by the natural resources authorities, the company's Tibet Julong Copper mine and Heilongjiang Copper Mountain mine have a total of 18.377 million tons of newly recorded copper metal resources, with a newly recorded copper metal reserve of 5.777 million tons, accounting for about 14.2% of China's copper reserves by the end of 2022.

After this filing, the Junlong mining area has accumulated a total of 25.88 million tons of identified copper metal resources, which is the copper mine with the most filing resources on the mainland. It has increased by about 6.61 million tons compared to the 2023 annual report disclosure and is 2.5 times the copper metal resources verified when the company acquired Junlong Copper Industry in 2020, which was 10.41 million tons.
