1. Company Overview

In addition to the company, the group consists of 3 wholly consolidated subsidiaries. They are NSS Co., Ltd. (formerly NSW Wiz Co., Ltd.), which develops embedded development businesses, etc. in China; and NSA Co., Ltd. The company has its business base west of Tokyo, but its business partners span the whole country, and in addition to government offices and public organizations, it has many major companies, starting with the manufacturing and distribution industries. At the beginning of establishment, there were overwhelmingly many transactions with the NEC (NEC <6701>) Group, but sales declined to 11.4% for the fiscal year ending 2024/3 due to the expansion of other business partners, and the base of transactions is expanding year by year. The Chinese subsidiary mainly covers Japanese companies expanding locally. Furthermore, a Taiwan office (representative office) was established in 2018/4, and customer development and field surveys are being carried out in the **** market, which is a global semiconductor manufacturing, assembly, and testing base.

The number of group employees at the end of 2024/3 was 2,428, of which engineers accounted for nearly 90%. Furthermore, since 2013/4, Mr. Shoji Tada (Shoji Tada) has served as Representative Director, Executive Officer and President.

2. HISTORY

The company started its software development business and contract calculation business in 1966 as an independent software house. The operation management service business began in 1968, and development business related to firmware and logic circuits began in 1978. Since then, along with the evolution of IT technology, the business area has expanded, such as starting the system integration business in 1990, the data center business in 1998, the cloud service business in 2009, and the IoT/M2M business in 2013.

Meanwhile, the trade name was changed to Nippon Systemware in 1982. The stock was publicly traded in 1996, and the Yamanashi IT Center was established in 1998/8 with funds obtained from the market. The stock was listed on the 2nd section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 1999/4, and after being designated as the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2000/3, the 50th year since the company was founded in the fiscal year ending 2016/3. In 2022/4, it transitioned to the prime market due to the market restructuring of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and in 2022/8, the trade name was changed to “NSW” in order to leap to a new stage. Similarly, in 2023/1, the company names of the three consolidated subsidiaries were also changed.
