Fujifilm Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director and CEO: Teiji Goto) will expand the health check-up center "NURA" centered on cancer screening in Vietnam. The new location will open in Hanoi, Vietnam on July 1 as the first NURA location in Southeast Asia. It will be operated by the "VIETNAM JAPAN HEALTH TECHNOLOGY JOINT STOCK COMPANY (VJH)" which operates medical institutions such as T-Matsuoka Medical Center in Vietnam. Supported by Fujifilm's subsidiary, FUJIFILM DKH LLP, which has already deployed "NURA" in India and Mongolia, we will provide cancer screening, as well as lifestyle disease testing services.
We will continue to expand NURA's locations and further expand our health check-up service business in emerging countries.

About the health check-up center "NURA"
We opened "NURA" in Bangalore, India in 2021 and started the health check-up service business in emerging countries. Since then, we have expanded our locations and currently have four locations in India and one in Mongolia. At "NURA", we provide cancer screening and lifestyle disease testing services using AI technology to support medical devices such as CT and mammography that we own, and diagnostic physicians. All tests and feedback from doctors are completed in about 120 minutes, and feedback includes easy-to-understand explanations of the health check-up results by doctors while viewing diagnostic images, which has been well received by users and has already been used by more than 45,000 people.
In Vietnam, non-communicable diseases such as cancer and ischemic heart disease are among the top causes of death, and early detection and measures such as treatment and health guidance can suppress mortality rates and severity risks.※1Similar to Japan, regular check-ups for workers are mandatory in Vietnam, but the check-up rate is low, about 3.5%, and it is difficult to detect diseases early.※2There is currently a difficulty in early detection of illnesses.
This time, we will partner with VJH to expand "NURA" in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. We will provide VJH with the health check-up services know-how that we have accumulated so far. Together with VJH and T-Matsuoka Medical Center, which has contributed to improving the quality of medical care in Vietnam, we will create an environment to provide high-quality health check-up services in the country. We will also work to promote the culture of health check-ups in Vietnam by engaging in activities to convey the importance of health check-ups to hospitals and companies in the surrounding area.
In the future, we will continue to contribute to the development of global healthcare and the maintenance and promotion of people's health by delivering high-quality health check-up services using the abundant lineup of medical devices and AI technology to support diagnostic physicians at "NURA" to more people.
