Fujifilm Holdings Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Teiichi Goto) has signed a sponsorship contract with professional golfer Rio Takeda. As a sponsored player of our company, Takeda will wear clothing with the Fujifilm Group's corporate brand logo when participating in tour competitions starting in July.

We have decided to enter into a sponsorship contract because we have sympathy for Takeda's desire to become a golf player who is active in the world, his sincere attitude toward challenging golf, and his personality of enjoying everything with a smile.
We will support Takeda's activities as one of the leading athletes representing Kumamoto Prefecture (Kikuyo Town) while aiming to deliver inspiration and smiles to many people through support for women's professional golf.

I feel a special connection because Fujifilm has a production base in Kikuyo Town, which is next to my hometown in Kumamoto Prefecture.
