Daikokuten Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP) has been developing its original brand product series "Safumare" for interior and exterior decorative sheets since 1996. The product group uses an environmentally conscious material, olefins, as the base material, which hardly generates harmful gases even when burned, and applies functional materials to it and hardens it with DNP's own "EB coating" technology by irradiating it with EB (electron beam), thereby enhancing durability against scratches, abrasion, dirt, sunburn, etc. As a new pattern for 2024, we will release 14 new patterns of "Safumare WS" that are easy to use for indoor building materials, kitchens, and washroom doors, and 6 new patterns of "Safumare EB-F" for flooring on July 1st, 2024 (Monday).*1As a recent trend, greyish colors are popular, and in response to the further diversification of interior styles that is accelerating in Japan and other countries, we have prepared a wide range of lineups from white to dark tones.

Features of new patterns:
- As the diversification of interior styles accelerates in Japan and overseas, the creation of spaces using "material mix," which combines different materials such as stone, metal, and fabric based on wood materials, is becoming increasingly popular. Since basic elements are required for wood materials, in this new pattern, we have strengthened the pattern of oak (deciduous broad-leaved tree in the beech family Quercus subgenus) which is a species of tree that is widely coordinated with a wider range of colors from white to dark tones.

- We have also added a new color to the abstract pattern series "Luster Feel" of "Safumare WS," which has a bold design and a calm shine, launched in 2023. This will broaden the combination of "Luster Feel" and enable space production that meets more diverse needs.
- DNP has independently created "Five Lifestyles" by analyzing various trends in Japan and around the world and has been announcing "DNP 5 Styles" every year since 2017, coordinating space with new products for building materials and floor sheets that match them. This year, we have set the latest "DNP 5 Styles 2024" and developed new patterns.
