On June 30, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology publicly solicited opinions on the Draft Regulations on Beijing Autonomous Driving Automobiles. The regulations propose a clear reservation of space for intelligent roadside infrastructure for new, renovated, and expanded roads, and will achieve full coverage of intelligent roadside infrastructure for 600 square kilometers in the city within the year.

On June 30th, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology solicited public comments on the "Beijing Autonomous Driving Car Regulations (Draft for Soliciting Opinions)". The Regulations propose to clarify the reservation of space for intelligent roadside infrastructure for new, reconstruction, and expansion of roads, support the circulation and utilization of autonomous driving car data, encourage market entities to develop data products and provide applications and services. Currently, the high-level autonomous driving demonstration zone in Beijing has issued road test licenses for 31 test car companies, and the mileage for autonomous driving tests has exceeded 28 million kilometers. Intelligent roadside infrastructure covering 600 square kilometers will be fully completed in the city within the year.

Integration of vehicle-road-cloud continues to be encouraged. Recently, the plan for nearly 10 billion yuan of new infrastructure projects for the integration of vehicle-road-cloud in Beijing has been announced. The 17 billion yuan major demonstration project for vehicle-road-cloud integration in Wuhan has been approved and filed by relevant departments. Related projects have started bidding in cities such as Fuzhou, Ordos, Shenyang, and Hangzhou, marking that the vehicle-road-cloud integration is entering a new stage of large-scale demonstration and application from small-scale testing and verification. The research report from BOBCARDS Securities pointed out that the current policy emphasizes the development of "smart roads". The development of autonomous driving technology needs to shift from single vehicle intelligence to the integration and coordinated development of "vehicle-road-cloud". The trend of "vehicle-road-cloud" coordinated development puts forward higher requirements for the performance, storage, reliability, and soft-hard coordination of edge computing infrastructure on the roadside.

According to the Financial Data Center, among related listed companies:

Genvict Technologies' vehicle-road coordination products have participated in numerous Intelligent Connected Vehicle (ICV) demonstration zone engineering construction and testing projects, such as the Shanghai ICV demonstration zone, the Shandong Jinan 5G ICV demonstration zone, and the Meizhou Island ICV demonstration application base.

Vanjee Technology stated that the company's roadside intelligent perception system integrates sensing devices such as Lidar, millimeter-wave radar, AI cameras, etc., and uses 5G/V2X communication to transmit information to surrounding vehicles, mobile terminals and the cloud with extremely low latency, achieving coordinated interaction of "vehicle-road-cloud-map".
