BOC Hong Kong (02388.HK) stated that it has completed the credit decision of the first small and medium-sized enterprise loan case by cooperating with credit service institutions and checking the credit reports of the customer's mainland related companies through Dun & Bradstreet, its partner, becoming the first bank to implement cross-border enterprise credit trial, and will cooperate with credit institutions to jointly study and promote the cross-border enterprise credit trial scheme in the future.

Liao Weilun, General Manager of the Personal Banking Risk and Comprehensive Management Department of BOC Hong Kong, said that the bank has been actively cooperating with the development strategy of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and supporting the Hong Kong Monetary Authority in continuously improving financial infrastructure, expecting that the establishment of a cross-border credit information exchange business trial cooperation framework can allow banks in the Mainland and Hong Kong to cross-border check the credit data of relevant enterprises in the other place with the consent of corporate clients, so that banks can have a better understanding of the customer's operation situation.

He also pointed out that with the new measures to expand the scope of cross-border credit cooperation trials, it is expected to gradually optimize the credit approval process and deepen the integration and development of the Mainland and Hong Kong economies.
