On the news front, Brilliance Chi announced that independent non-executive director and Chairman of the Board of Directors Wu Xiaoan was notified by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) on June 24, 2024 that ICAC has completed the investigation and confirmed that no further action will be taken against him. He was unconditionally discharged on the same day, and the case has been concluded. The company stated that it has received the news with pleasure and reaffirmed that the investigation has not had a significant adverse impact on the Group.

It is worth noting that after the company declared a special dividend of HK$1.5 per share in the first half of this year, it declared another special dividend of HK$4.3 per share on June 14.
