內地放寬自港澳入境免稅額 莎莎(00178.HK)曾升3% 其他零售股橫行

Mainland China has raised the tax exemption limit for goods from Hong Kong and Macau. Sa Sa International Holdings (00178.HK) saw a 3% increase, while other retail stocks dominated.

Although the Mainland has implemented the relaxation of the tax-free limit for Mainland passengers entering from Hong Kong and Macau, local retail stocks are generally stagnant. Only Sa Sa International Holdings Limited (00178.HK) has risen by 3.66%, with a high of 0.85 HKD and currently reported at 0.84 HKD, up 2.44%, with a turnover of 3.71 million shares and a transaction value of 3.0657 million HKD.

Chow Sang Sang Holdings International Limited (00116.HK) is weaker, currently reported at 7.18 HKD, down 0.42%; Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group Limited (01929.HK) currently reported at 8.57 HKD, slightly up by 0.59%. Wharf Real Estate Investment Trust (01997.HK), which operates Harbour City, is currently reported at 20.9 HKD, up 0.24%; Link Real Estate Investment Trust (00823.HK) currently reported at 30.35 HKD, up 1.17%.

Dining stocks have also not benefited, with Tsui Wah Holdings Limited (01314.HK) earning 39.09 million HKD in the fiscal year ending in March, a year-on-year decrease of 36%. Its stock price is currently down 0.98%, reported at 0.203 HKD. Cafe de Coral Holdings Limited (00341.HK) currently reported at 8.01 HKD, up 0.63%. LH Group Limited (01978.HK) Chairman Wong Geron announced the closure of four stores next month, and its stock is currently down by 2.6%, reported at 0.75 HKD.

The Ministry of Finance, General Administration of Customs, and State Administration of Taxation have issued an announcement on increasing the duty-free limit on luggage items carried by residents from Hong Kong and Macau entering the Mainland. For residents who are over 18 years old and entering from Hong Kong and Macau, personal reasonable luggage items obtained outside the Mainland with a total value of up to 12,000 yuan (RMB) will be duty-free. The current duty-free limit is 5,000 yuan (RMB). If the total value of personal reasonable luggage items is 15,000 yuan (RMB) or less, they will also be duty-free if the resident has spent 3,000 yuan (RMB) or more in the duty-free shops at the port of entry.
